Ceramic and Porcelain Tile & Grout

Ceramic and Porcelain tiles are very beautiful and durable surfaces that are impervious to staining.  The grout, however, is very absorbent.  Grout Color Sealing is the very best protection for your grout, allowing the grout to be cleaned easily and preventing permanent staining.  For a lifetime of beauty, follow these easy steps:

1. Have Acu-Chem, Inc. Color Seal the grout.  This will prevent the grout from becoming permanently stained.
2. Dustmop, sweep or vacuum daily to remove dust and dirt.
3. Spot clean food spills, etc. as quickly as possible.
4. Wet mop the floor as needed.  When wet mopping, it is necessary to use a string mop (no sponge mops) and a neutral pH cleaner such as Acu-Chem's Natural Stone Cleaner.  Follow the instructions on the label.
   
   NOTE: It is extremely important when wet mopping that your cleaning solution stays very clean.  Change the water frequently (approximately every 250 square feet).  Dirt particles, oil residue, etc. will remain on top of the grout joints if clean water is not used.
   
   
5. Periodic deep cleaning may be necessary if these procedures are not followed.
